Today's news was Billy O'Neill was just added to SHIMA SKATE MANUFACTURING Pro Team. It's great to see skaters step up and take control of our media, and present skating the way "we" see it. So, add Blading.info to your list of websites you check out daily! 4.1.12 Matthias is one of our good friends, he has come out to skate/film in Arizona a few times. Currently enjoying the sun living in Melbourne, Australia, he still has roots where he grew up skating in Germany. Matthias has experienced a lot of different scenes, cultures, and people. All of which are the reasons I think Matthias has a fresh outlook on life, and has his head on straight. We're happy to present a TOP 5 Profile with Matthias with amazing photos by Hayden Golder. 3.27.12 Featuring Dominic Sagona, Demetrios George, Mark Wojda, and Richie Eisler. "The Conference crew set out to Arizona a few weeks ago to make this edit and snap some pics with photographer Adam Kola. Well everyone did just that and came through with some nice coverage. A big thanks to Dom for letting us all stay at his place. Thanks to James from Revolution for the spot list. Thanks to Jeff Stockwell for double angles and being him self." 3.19.12 Chris Calkins set up this year's Sin City Session once again in Vegas, we are down with grass roots events like this, so we took the opportunity to head out and skate Vegas for a weekend. Despite dealing with some cold weather, everything went smooth and skaters were ripping the spots. Anthony Luna took the Men's comp and our good friend Aarin Gates won the women's. We hit some Vegas spots on Sunday - check out this photo of Chad Hornish getting a piece. 3.14.12 Canada's Todd McInerney hit us up on Sunday night to do an interview for his website Mushroom Blading - where Todd does raw, uncut webcast interviews with skaters. It was great to talk to Todd, we covered a wide range of topics covering how Revolution started, being more than just a skate shop, economy and our industry, skater owned vs. non skater owned brands, live and die rollerblading, and more! Check out the entire 2 hour interview here. 3.6.12 We work everyday to create a stronger rollerblade industry. We support the real skate companies who push our sport, we present blading in the highest regard with our media, and most importantly we always support the skaters who put everything on the line. Everything we do has purpose, everything we do is for rollerblading, we live it everyday. Revolution is "Strictly Rollerblading." 3.1.12 Mathieu shot these clips last year in Oakland during the filming of what was going to be the SSM video. Although things didn't work out, we still wanted to give you a taste of the energy that Mathieu brings to skating in its raw form. Also, FESTER is releasing a New Pro Wheel for Mathieu next week! You can see a sneak peak on www.festerwheels.com. 2.16.12 We have the upmost respect for AJ, not only does he run 2 core skate companies in our industry (VIBRALUX DENIM, STREET URETHANE) - he sacrifices everything he has to produce some amazing skate videos featuring some of his closest friends. AJ came thru Arizona during one of his many laps around the country filming for his upcoming release "PARIAH" - get a glimpse into the man behind the madness - this is AJ. 2.10.12 Amir Amadi just released 3 NEW Strange Creatures Designs - Bad Vibes, Twist, and Severed. We dig that all Strange Creatures t-shirts are designed and actually hand printed by Amir himself, shirts that are made by skaters for skaters. Also stay tuned to the upcoming Strange Creature Video release "Voodoo Show" - the crew has been filming all year for. 2.4.12 Demetrios George, Paul John, Mark Wojda, Jeff Stockwell, Richie Eisler and photographer/filmer Adam Kola have been on a mission this week in Arizona to shoot as much promotion as possible for The Conference (USD, Xsjado, UC, Kizer). Things have been going great for the crew, they've been very productive, and at the end of the day everyone is all smiles - happy with what Arizona has to offer. 1.29.12 KC Roche was part of the generation to shape our scene in Arizona. Moving here from Florida back in the day, he now resides in Kansas City. Blading with the likes of SK, and Broskow. KC is easily recognizable by his classic look, and his hairdo. But what we like best is he's not afraid to give it to you straight. Either he likes what you're doing or it makes him "salty." KC is awesome, he's got his style down to a t, and he rips hard. Check out his TOP 5 Profile. This is a first in our industry, RENEGADE Bearings and FESTER Wheels created a special collaboration pro bearing for Revolution Team Rider Damien Wilson. Damien's pro bearing features a friction-less gold steel shield for increased durability, Pre-lubricated to last longer and ride smoother, and is an unrated bearing. Pick up Damien Wilson's pro bearing here. 1.24.12 Chris Farmer is one of the most influential skaters in our industry. Chris is one of our favorite people in general, he's always respectful, and always genuine. Aside from his skating, we're happy to give you a glimpse into who Farmer really is. Richie is moving onto a new chapter in his life, and is sadly leaving his position at Woodward West. Richie will always be a skater at heart. Featuring AJ, Alex Broskow, B-Free, Victor Arias, Adam Exline, and Don Bambrick. You can come session with the crew at this week's Revolution Thursday Night Skate Session!! Shawn Engler is outspoken, and wears his passion on his sleeve. It's a rare thing in our industry to speak your mind, Shawn says what needs to be said. We admire the work Shawn is putting into his blading media website skatelife.tv. Shawn is also an amazing photographer/filmer. Shawn shot his TOP 5 skate photo himself, using a hand remote!
